FULL STRAP - #1-#15-#1 Solid Brass Belsnickel Bells - Buckle End

29 Solid Brass Belsnickel Bells go up & down this 2-ply strap, with the Largest (#15), smack dab in the middle.  Arranged from smallest to largest & back down to smallest, these bells provide a full array of musical tones on this impressive strap that would normally be buckled around a horse's middle. The bells are separated with "Keepers" (small belt-loop-like strips of leather that hold the back & front layers of the strap together). This was originally done to protect the horse's back from being harmed by the metal pin used to fasten each bell to the strap.
