On eligible products, use the Personalization box on the product page. We handwrite your text in black ink, exactly as you type it, so please double-check spelling and capitalization.

No. To keep orders moving quickly, we don’t send proofs for handwritten personalization.

Yes—within 2 hours of placing the order. After that, your item may already be in process.

Because they’re made just for you, personalized items aren’t returnable, except for defects or damage in shipping. If there’s a problem, contact us promptly and we’ll make it right.

Return shipping: Customer pays for change-of-mind returns; Wit & Hil covers shipping for defective/damaged items.

- Goldtone = brass-plated for a bright
golden look. - Silvertone = nickel-plated for a bright silver look.
- Solid Brass has natural heft and can be polished to restore shine.
Finish and material can lead to slight differences in tone and patina over time. - Chrome = Brilliant silver

Keep out of direct sun and harsh weather. Wipe bells with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
For solid brass, you may use a brass polish.
Leather can be softened with leather balm (note: it may darken the leather).
